If you’ve seen our recent trends video, you will be aware that we’ve explored the 6 big food and drink trends that we believe will impact brands in all categories.


In this blog series, we want to delve a little deeper and explore each trend on its own.

Trend 5 is Snacking Elevated.


Consumers are increasingly more drawn to nutritionally enhanced versions of traditional food and beverage items because they allow for them to be healthier, without changing their routines.


If the products they typically consume are elevated with nutritional benefits, it helps consumers without them having to put extra effort into their health.


CBD & Adaptogens two well known examples but the current poster child in this trend is Collagen with Collagen-infused everything becoming increasingly popular as it offers enhancements to traditional products that aren't typically seen and the use of collagen is good for skin, hair and more importantly joint health.


Other benefits of nutritionally enhanced offerings include immunity, anti-inflammatory defences, natural energy and relaxing properties, supporting and uplifting moods, hot flashes and even promoting better sleep.


Whilst this is a new space, there is a growing number of great examples of food and drink brands entering the market including brands such as Recess, Rockway , Gusto and LÜME.
